In Luxembourg, there are municipal, legislative and European elections. All these elections have their rules of play, e.g different conditions of access to the vote as well as different voting systems.
- Are you familiar with the proportional representation and majority representation systems?
- Do you know all the conditions for accessing the vote (e.g. voting as non national resident in the municipal elections)?

I think that the government does a great job of explaining how the elections work. I especially appreciate that the instructions aare also included on the back of the ballot so that if you have any doubts, you can refresh your memory.

Ich finde es sehr schwierig, wenn in einem Jahr mehrere Wahlen gleichzeitig stattfinden, zu unterscheiden, welche Maßnahmen der Parteien für welche Wahl gedacht sind. Was für eine Gemeinde gut ist, muss nicht zwangsläufig die richtige Strategie für das ganze Land oder ganz Europa sein (und umgekehrt) Es wäre vielleicht wichtig die Wahlen besser unterscheiden zu können, in den Medien, den Wahlprogrammen etc.
Dass die Wahlen unterschiedliche Regeln haben, ist mir bewusst und ich weiß auch genau wann ich wählen gehen soll, doch ich kenne mich nicht aus mit den Wahlrechten und Pflichten anderer Leute.

Leider verstinn ech keen Portogiesech. Wahlen zu Letzebuerg fir eis Geescht ass eng gudd Sach. Et wär wahrscheinlech net schlecht wann se gengen eis Sproch leieren. Ech mengen dann versteht een besser Eis Kultur ech kann jo och net wehlen goen a Portugal wann ech Sproch mol net schwetzen, oder dach?
